PLEASE TAKE SPECIAL NOTE: City government review of program items 2. & 3. has been held in abeyance because the GNL Board requested that Ghent community members have a chance to hear about these two new Planning applications. This is your chance to ask your questions, express your concerns.
Item 2. The New Donut Dinette @ 1917 Colley Ave. This proposed renovation/new business plan has already been reviewed in part by the Architectual Review Board (ARB) and approved, specifically that part which consists of outdoor dining on the Colley Ave. side (20 persons). The Planning Commission will be taking up the rest of the plan, including the new/expansion of outdoor seating (36 persons) along the Harrington St. side of the property, as well as the request for special exception to serve alcoholic beverages from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Item 3. Sassi Cakes : The planning request is for a new owner /operator for the Sassi Cakes and Sweets @ 330 West 22nd St., Suite 104 & 105. The applicant had been invited to our November meeting but did not show due to personal circumstances. He has promised to show for this meeting.
