Due to Chrysler Museum renovations, we will begin the new year with a NEW meeting location: The Williams School.
Please join us tomorrow (Wed.) evening, Jan. 9th at 6:30 p.m. in the Williams School auditorium on Fairfax Avenue, in the Hague area of Ghent. Just look for the GNL yellow /black sign!
You will not want to miss this first meeting of the New Year to hear important updates and provide feedback on several proposals that would impact our Ghent neighborhood. Please join us and ensure your voice is heard:
1) Proposed future design of Stockley Gardens park (southern park) and neighborhood feedback – Chad Morris, City of Norfolk – Department of Parks and Open Space
2) Proposed Towne Bank branch w/drive thru (Colley Avenue, site of former BP Gas Station) – John Matson, President Towne Bank, Mr. Vince Mastrocco and others
3) Update: City of Norfolk: Re-Zoning Draft, to include Creation of New Architectural Review Board and impact to Ghent
…and other neighborhood updates and opportunities to become more involved in this great neighorhood that we are all fortunate enough to call “home”! Hope to see you Wednesday evening.
